Mr. Horace Weeks, one of the best kept secrets in the fashion industry, was born in Vaiden, Mississippi in 1928. Horace came to New York City at the age of 20, where he began to work with Peter and Irving who together established a hat manufacturing company in 1935.ÝHorace continued to work for Peter and Irving until he became a third partner in the early 1960's and eventually sole owner in the later '70's.Ý |

Throughout his hat making years Horace has designed hats for countless numbers of high profile figures and has helped bring many other hat designers ideas to life. In addition to hat making, Horace is one of the last to keep the tradition of hat cleaning, blocking and repair alive. Customers have been known to send their hats from as far as Mexico for what has become known as the magic touch. Horace continues his daily work at Peter and Irving where he trains younger hands to carry on his legacy with the belief that one is not fully dressed without a hat. |
